Who operates Trigger Grade
Trigger Grade is operated by the Trigger Grade team.
The company name is pove1001.
The Trigger Grade team is responsible for the content on this site.
The Trigger Grade team is a group of university students interested in economics and development.
We started Trigger Grade for our own investing.
1. Purpose
This page explains what Trigger Grade collects, the order it uses to organize that information, and how Trigger-AI writes a summary, a reading, and a grade.
Trigger Grade does not promote a stock and does not tell you to buy or sell.
The job is to put a checkable press release or SEC filing on one screen, under the same rules.
It is not a scanner that only shows stocks that are already up.
It covers official wires and filings for companies listed on NASDAQ, NYSE, and NYSE American.
Low Float, Today IPO, High Squeeze, and Bad Cash Flow are tags for the stock's state, not a list of picks.
2. Sources
Trigger Grade collects information that can be traced to a source. The main sources are:
- Company press releases distributed on an official wire
- Material filings published through SEC EDGAR
- Market data from the moment the event was recorded
- Material the company itself has published
- Licensed or otherwise permitted financial data the service needs to run
Unchecked market rumors, anonymous posts, personal opinions, promises of profit, and items with no traceable source are not used as a source.
3. What is collected
Trigger Grade collects press releases and material SEC filings tied to companies listed on NASDAQ, NYSE, and NYSE American. It does not limit the feed to one industry.
A stock that can move on a small catalyst is marked with a tag. The tag is extra context for an event that already arrived. It is not the only reason an item is collected.
- Low Float
- Today IPO
- High Squeeze
- Bad Cash Flow
4. How a release or filing is handled
When a new press release or SEC filing is detected, Trigger Grade works through it in this order:
- Confirm the ticker and the company.
- Record the source and the publication time.
- Check whether the same or a similar event is already in the feed.
- Have Trigger-AI summarize the point and say what it means.
- Save the main market data from that moment as a Market Snapshot.
- Attach an S, A, B, or F grade and the related tags.
- Show the same shape on the dashboard and on the detail page.
The original is not copied into a pile. The page is arranged so the item to check today and the stock's state at that time sit together.
5. Duplicate items
The same company event can be distributed again through more than one wire or SEC filing. When Trigger Grade treats them as the same event, it can keep one primary item.
A financing that appears at once as a press release, an 8-K, and a 424B5 can be grouped as one event, with only the extra detail added.
The point is to spend less time re-reading the same facts.
6. What Trigger-AI does
Trigger-AI does not only shorten a long original. It keeps the important facts and says what the event means.
Trigger-AI can produce:
- A short summary
- A reading of the event
- A catalyst label
- An S, A, B, or F grade
- Low Float, Today IPO, and High Squeeze tags
- A Bad Cash Flow tag
- The main points that still need a look
The analysis is there so the original can be read faster. It does not replace the original.
7. S / A / B / F
S, A, B, and F separate how important a newly published press release or SEC filing is. F means the event carries a risk. The grade does not predict the price and does not value the company.
Trigger-AI sets the base grade from the event itself. Market data at the time of the analysis, such as RVOL and float, is used only near a grade boundary. A weak event is not raised to a strong grade on market data alone.
- S — the most important event
- A — an important event
- B — an ordinary event with a limited change
- F — an event that carries a risk
A grade is not a buy or sell signal, and it does not promise a later price move or a profit.
8. Market Snapshot
Trigger Grade records market data from the moment the event was analyzed. It does not only show a price that keeps changing after the news.
A snapshot can include:
- Price
- Change
- RVOL
- Float
- Short interest
- CTB
- Other market data the service shows
Later, you can still see the stock's state at the time the event was filed. A later price change does not rewrite that snapshot.
10. Bad Cash Flow
Bad Cash Flow is a reference tag, not a grade. It marks a state where dilution or another financing may be a burden.
The review can include:
- Cash runway
- Cash burn and a possible shortage of operating funds
- An offering
- An ATM
- A PIPE
- A shelf registration
- Convertible securities
- Warrants
- Pre-funded warrants
- Other possible dilution
The tag does not mean an offering will happen or that the price will fall. It says the financing and dilution burden should be read next to the event.
11. Grades and tags stay separate
An S, A, B, or F grade and a Bad Cash Flow tag say different things. The grade is how important this event is. Bad Cash Flow is a financial burden apart from that event.
An S or an A can still carry Bad Cash Flow. The tag does not automatically become an F.
12. Original and AI analysis
Trigger Grade labels information that came from the source apart from information Trigger-AI produced.
Source information can include the ticker, the company name, the release or filing title, the publication time, the source, and a link to the original.
AI information can include the summary, the reading, the catalyst, the S/A/B/F grade, the stock tags, and the Bad Cash Flow tag.
The details can still be checked in the original. Whether the full original is shown depends on the license.
13. Licenses
Trigger Grade processes and displays data within each provider's terms and the range those terms allow.
Whether the full text, a portion, or a link is shown can depend on the contract. Inside the allowed range, the page shows the core facts and the Trigger-AI result.
14. Commercial relationships
Advertising, affiliates, partnerships, and other commercial relationships are kept apart from the Trigger-AI rules.
Payment is not a reason to feature a release or a filing, or to move an S/A/B/F grade or a tag in a company's favor.
If an ad or an affiliate item is shown, it is marked apart from a press release, an SEC filing, and a Trigger-AI analysis.
15. Corrections
When a clear error is confirmed, or the source is corrected, the related text can be corrected or updated where that is possible.
A Market Snapshot is the record from the moment of the event. A later price change does not replace that record with the current price.
If the source press release or SEC filing is amended, that change can appear as a later event or as a correction.
16. Limits of the AI analysis
Trigger-AI is an automated system for filing incoming items under the same rules. It has limits:
- It can miss context in the original.
- It can misread a complex contract or an SEC filing.
- The same event can produce a different reading.
- A later filing or a change in supply and demand can change the outcome.
- The market can move quickly after the analysis.
Trigger Grade reviews the rules against the data and the operating record as they accumulate.
17. Investing
Trigger Grade does not give investment advice, recommend a buy, a sell, or a hold, or promise a return. It is not a broker. It does not place orders or hold money.
Summaries, readings, S/A/B/F grades, catalysts, Market Snapshots, and tags are reference material for a press release, an SEC filing, and the market data from that moment.
A high grade or a tag does not guarantee a later price, a result, the accuracy of the original, or the issuer's reliability. The decision and the trade are yours.
18. Changes to this policy
The editorial policy and the Trigger-AI rules are not frozen. They can be reviewed as data types, filing structures, operating results, and the product change.
FREE and PRO do not differ by hiding the analysis. They differ by how soon an item can be checked and by the tools around it. A new item appears in the list soon after it is stored. PRO adds the live feed, S and A alerts, combined filters, and ticker search on the dashboard.
A material change can be noted on this page or in a notice.
Summary
Trigger Grade provides information under these rules:
- Prefer press releases and SEC filings that can be traced to a source.
- Reduce needless duplicates of the same event while collecting.
- Keep the original separate from the Trigger-AI analysis.
- Record a Market Snapshot from the moment of the event.
- Use the grade for the event's importance and Bad Cash Flow for a separate financial burden.
- Keep ads and commercial relationships from moving a grade or a tag.
- State the limits of the AI analysis.
- Put the items that need a check on one screen, under the same rules.
