About Trigger Grade

What is Trigger Grade?

Trigger Grade collects public press releases and SEC filings for U.S. listed companies and writes an AI reading of the event so it is faster to understand.

Official wire releases and SEC filings for NASDAQ, NYSE, and NYSE American names sit on one screen. Trigger AI files them as an S/A/B/F grade, a catalyst, a summary, and tags. You still read the original and decide.

Open the live dashboard

Who is it for?

It is for people who need to see which company event matters during the pre-market, the regular session, and the after-hours.

It is especially useful on Low Float, Today IPO, and High Squeeze names, where a small catalyst can move more. A story that looks positive can still carry a Bad Cash Flow tag so financing and dilution stay visible.

This is not a long-term valuation product. The grade is about the new event.

How is this different from a momentum scanner?

A scanner shows names that already moved. Trigger Grade collects the press release or SEC filing behind a move and grades the event.

The same event from several sources is folded into one. Macro commentary, rumors, and promotional headlines stay off the main feed.

One card holds the grade, catalyst, source, price, change, and tags.

Do you give investment advice or trade signals?

No. Trigger Grade is not an adviser and not a broker.

It collects news, major SEC filings, and market data, and Trigger AI files them on one set of rules.

S/A/B/F describes how important the new information is. F marks an event with risk. It is not a buy, sell, or hold, and it does not name a time to trade.

Risk tags point at financing and dilution. They do not recommend an action or promise a later price.

Can I use it free? What is the difference between FREE and PRO?

Yes. FREE shows the same grades, summaries, and tags. A new item appears shortly after it is saved. PRO is the live feed, combined filters, and ticker search.

Trigger AI, grades, and tags

What are S/A/B/F grades and risk tags?

S/A/B/F grades how important a new press release or SEC filing is. F means the event carries risk. The grade does not forecast the price or value the company for the long term.

  • S — the most important event
  • A — an important event
  • B — an ordinary update
  • F — an event with risk

A risk tag is not the same as an F. Bad Cash Flow flags possible dilution from cash flow, cash runway, financing, offerings, or an ATM. The tag is not a trade.

What are Low Float, Today IPO, High Squeeze, and Bad Cash Flow?

They are stock traits on the filter bar and on the card, separate from the event grade.

  • Low Float — a relatively small free float. The same news can move the name more.
  • Today IPO — a NASDAQ, NYSE, or NYSE American name that started trading today.
  • High Squeeze — short interest and borrow cost (CTB) are both high.
  • Bad Cash Flow — financing and dilution are worth reading next to the story.

Data, trust, and security

What data do you use?

Official newswire press releases, SEC EDGAR filings, and a market snapshot from that moment, for NASDAQ, NYSE, and NYSE American companies.

Trigger AI writes the summary, catalyst, and S/A/B/F grade. Price, change, RVOL, float, short interest, and CTB are the snapshot from when the item was analyzed.

Rumors and posts without a source are not the basis of an item.

How do I see SEC filings?

Major SEC filings appear on the same dashboard as press releases. The source line says SEC.

EDGAR is collected on an ongoing basis, including financing and dilution items.

What you see can lag the SEC timestamp. That lag is not guaranteed away.

Is this a legitimate information service?

Yes. It organizes public press releases, SEC filings, and market data.

It does not connect to a brokerage account, place orders, hold funds, recommend trades, or promise returns.

How is Trigger Grade funded?

FREE and PRO sit together. Subscription revenue pays for collection, Trigger AI, infrastructure, and the product.

Ads or partners may be added. Payment does not put a story on the feed or change an S/A/B/F grade or a risk tag.

Do you ask for a brokerage account or a card number?

No brokerage login, account number, portfolio, holdings, orders, or margin data is requested or stored.

PRO checkout goes through a processor such as Creem. Card numbers are not stored on Trigger Grade servers.

Hours, alerts, and devices

When can I use it?

The dashboard is available all day. Press releases and SEC filings are published in the pre-market, the regular session, the after-hours, and outside those hours.

What appears on screen can differ from the original timestamp because of SEC processing and the network. FREE can also lag while an item waits to show on the cached list.

Which clock do you use?

Times on news and filings follow the time zone of your device.

Events under 24 hours old use a relative time. After that, the date and time are shown.

U.S. sessions use Eastern Time: pre-market 04:00–09:30, regular 09:30–16:00, after-hours 16:00–20:00.

How do S/A alerts work?

You can turn on S and A alerts in settings without an account. The alert fires when that item is saved. Only S and A are alerted.

  • S and A — every S and A, regardless of tags.
  • S and A with Low Float — only those S and A items that also have the Low Float tag.

Alerts work on phones and tablets, not on a computer. iPhone needs the Safari home-screen app. Android uses Chrome or Samsung Internet. Battery saving, permission, and the network can delay or drop an alert.

Do I need an app?

There is no separate App Store or Play Store app. Trigger Grade is a website. Current Chrome, Safari, Edge, and Firefox work on a computer, tablet, or phone.

Phone alerts need the Safari home-screen app on iPhone, or Chrome or Samsung Internet on Android. A computer cannot receive the alerts.
